Brake bleeding by yourself is simple with this trick. I'm assuming you know how to bleed brakes already.
It's easy, really. If you run a tube (clear is great cause you can see what's going on) from the bleeder screw to a bucket, bottle, vessel of some sort you're in business.
To keep the air from going back into the brake system when you let up on the pedal you just need to insure that you have some brake fluid in the bucket, bottle, vessel of some sort and have the end of the tube below the level of the brake fluid which is in the bucket, bottle, vessel of some sort.
The drawing should give you the idea
Of course you'll find that the Mighty Vac does a fine job as well. I bought one about three months ago to use on a recalcitrant bike caliper and love it. I may never go back.
