Yep, pieces and parts for your Nash Metropolitan. Many of you know that the MG Midget is the differential that was sourced for the Mets. Your stock Metropolitan gear ratio is 4.22. Installing the 3.90 Midget third member (or the 3.72 if you can find it) makes a huge difference in your cruise.
That's the good news. The bad news is they are getting harder and harder to find. I get them in sometimes, but not as often as I used to. The differential swap is very straightforward.
Shoot me an email if you want to get on the waiting list.
From time to time I get hardened rear axles. A quick swap and peace of mind. While you're changing your gear ratio toss in a pair of the GOOD axles.
I do have anti sway torsion bars for the front of the Mets. Makes 'em settle down nicely. Easily installed.
Once in a blue moon I get Midget front brake setups. These will allow you to convert your Met front brakes to DISC. A HUGE difference in stopping power.
Remember that all of these pieces are used. None are new.
As with any modifications, some mechanical aptitude is nice to have. To quote Dirty Harry Callahan: "A man's got to know his limitations."
